Dr. Chan was born to Taiwanese immigrants and raised in Brazil. She came to the United States when she was 15 years old. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998 from the University of California, Riverside. She then went on to attend chiropractic school at Southern California University of Health Sciences (former LACC) where she graduated in 2002 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. After 22 years of experience, in 2011, Dr. Chan took over Sunny Hills Chiropractic Center from the retiring Dr. Steve Swearingen. Dr. Chan is married with 2 daughters, Hailey and Kaitlyn, and recently got a Corgi named Maximus. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking and playing tennis. A big part of Dr. Chan’s life is watching hockey, and is a proud fan of the Anaheim Ducks! Dr. Chan says there is nothing more rewarding to her than seeing a patient getting well and walking out of the office with a BIG smile because, “You know you’ve done something right”.
A life-long athlete himself, Dr. Adams has a passion for helping athletes maximize their potential as well as helping non-athletes rediscover the joys of human movement.
During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Adams attended Santiago Canyon College and Chico State University where he studied Biological Sciences. He later entered his Doctorate degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors from the Delta Sigma Scholastic Society for the Healing Arts. Dr. Adams' approach to chiropractic care is to tailor each patient's treatment and recovery plan uniquely to their needs and lifestyle. His goal is to help his patients out of pain as quickly as possible, as well as giving them the tools they need to best promote health and wellness long-term.
